I Joined the Impact because...This site has given me an opportunity to learn about people born beyond the Jrassic period on equal rights. I've only understood the 70's - 90's and what we did was great, but it can clearly be better. I still have passion, but I need new imput or I'll only get stuck in the past. I am still active doing the best things I've ever known and is to fundraise and show up. I still believe that's what I know. Beyond that I can also follow. Good thing, or my taxes wouldn't be paid, rent too,and all coffee dates have to be paid by somebody else. If I am vague with my grasp on anything I try not to share what I don't know and that's a lot. The networking of thoughts and even opinions are great to share since all I know is what Phoenix did when I was riddled with the energy to fight "the world". Now I'd just rather contribute to what I'm sure of. Otherwise I'm back screaming after Harvey Milk and he deserves better.

It's impossible to tell a new story: you can only tell an old story well. This is the most exciting time since the Milk recruitment. After his death the movement continued until around the 90's and then we seemed to fall asleep. Well, I did. It's a networking website like this can do what we couldn't before: maintain conact with eachother everywhere. Our problem wasn't the government, our street phobes. Our problem was us. We took all of the things like jealousy, grand standing, segregating men and women, random yet 'popular' leaders, etc. We wasted time getting angry at eachother, while the opressions we hated got fuel by our self sabbatoging. They say that the longest distance is between our hearts and our head. Once they meet we are unstoppable. That's why I love this site...we learn about eachother, vent, agree, disagree, then go out to do the next right thing,
out of found this valuable.
