The best word to describe me is: Multi-tasker; I find it hard just to do one thing at a time.

Favorite historical movement: Prop 8 protest in Hattiesburg last November, that was pretty historical for me.

My inspiration: Queer Youth

I Joined the Impact because... I heard about all the Prop 8 protests getting organized. We haven't really had a strong united front for Queer Equality and I think networking is key. We can all fight small battles in our own backyards but by networking we're better able to understand each other's needs. The needs of an 18 year old bi guy in Yazoo aren't exactly the same as a 27 year old lesbian in Seattle. We are so very different and when we begin to really talk about what impacts us then we'll see change. We can't necessarily force people to love us and see us for who we are but we can definitely start with each other.
