The best word to describe me is: One word can't describe me, but if I had to choose I would pick transcendent : ) Favorite historical movement: The Civil Rights Movement-Nonviolent Protests and boycotts aimed at change through persistence My inspiration: My girlfriend Angie. All out of the closet gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender individuals. It takes more courage to come out than people realize. Give yourself credit! I Joined the Impact because... I came out at a young age to my family and everyone told me that things were going to be great now that I was honest with myself and others about who I was. Once I grew up a little, I saw the inequality our community faces in terms of employment opportunities (which lessen if you are open about who you are). I saw the lack of respect our relationships get from our government, the companies we work for, and our own families. We need to work to change this. That little girl is gone and I don't believe everything is great as people told me before. We are going to have to fight to make it that way. Share your favorites
