Where is HRC during all of this? All I see are e-mails from Joe talking about how we lost in CA and asking for money. Money for what? Are we going to hire a law firm and sue to have this overturned? Are we going to buy our way into Equality?

While we're on the subject - where was Kyrsten Sinema during this rally? I personally e-mailed her and Ken C asking what it would take to get a domestic partnership bill sponsored in the state and was willing to lobby the required members to at least consider this - however, I was shot down with the typical "It won't pass so we won't waste our time" response.

I can burn candles and march until I'm in China - the point is - this is not going to do anything. Do we suddenly think the State of AZ will wake up one day and say "you know what - we were wrong - we'll set aside this prop" Not going to happen. While I agree we must present a face of our community and the number of members - simply marching and chanting is like spitting in the wind.

We need to re-group and figure out how to get a domestic partner bill sponsored and signed granting us the same rights (hold the Jim Crow argument - what do we want - rights or semantics?)
