IDAHOANS FOR FAIRNESS RALLY | APRIL 4, 2009

On February 20, lawmakers turned their backs on equality and the Idaho Human Rights Act Amendment, silencing debate and LGBT and ALLY voices.

On April 4, meet at Boise City Hall at 1:00 pm to rally and protest these decisions.

Keynote speaker is David Adler, ISU professor and constitutional law scholar.

JANUARY 10th, 2009 \| NATIONAL RALLY PEACEFUL Rally and Signature Drive at Boise City Hall. Across the United States our community will be sending a message to President-Elect Obama reminding him that we will be holding him to the campaign promises he made to LGBTQ citizens in his "Open Letter to the LGBTQ Community." Issues Include, a call to repeal the 'Defense of Marriage Act' (DOMA), Trans Inclusive Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), Repeal 'Don't Ask Don't Tell,' Enact the Matthew Shepard Hate Crime Act. With prominent speakers and music! We will collect signatures for a petition that will be sent directly to President Obama reminding him of his promises upon his inauguration. The National Goal is 1 MILLION SIGNATURES!
