ALL my life, I've feltfear and terror and shyness and a lack of worth, having grown up knowing that I was the object of scorn and ridicule simply for having feelings and ideas that weren't "mainstream" or ?"acceptable" or whatever. I was laughed at , beaten up, berated, put down, left out And essentially marginalized ALL MY ADULT life.... I've never known what it must feel like to actually be "free" to do as I pleased or to walk about feeling safe and secure. I am NOT a "homeowner" I am decidedly single, and I have no investments. What, I ask, about ME???? Do I not have rights??? Am I not an American??? I am WEARY of being stomped on by the dominant culture. Of being dismissed and left out. NO MORE!!!! Today I know that there a re MILLIONS like me. We are a sleeping GIANT, that is rumbling awake
