CANDLE LIGHT VIGIL - WEDNESDAY, MARCH 4TH
On March 5th, the California Supreme Court will be hearing arguments for and against the recently passed Proposition 8.
In over 20 cities across the state of California, candles will light up the streets the evening of March 4th to show solidarity and support for the marriages and benefits at stake in the LGBT community.
To maintain and increase visibility, we are moving this event to Chicago as well. The momentum and activism that has sprung from the blatant discrimination of Prop 8 is fueling the beginnings of a historic period in American history.

LIGHT UP THE NIGHT FOR EQUALITY | DECEMBER 20, 2008 | 5PM WHAT IS IT? On December 20th, we ask that you join us again for a nation-wide demonstration that will make an impact on the private sector. Candlelight vigils will be held at commercial centers in cities across the country in remembrance of the rights that once were for 18,000 marriages, and in honor of the rights that one day will be again - for EVERYONE. | Across from State St. Macy's : 111 N.
