 STATE INITIATIVES
House Bill 5 - Formerly HB99, this bill would prohibit discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation in housing, employment, etc.
House Bill 10 - This bill would provide domestic partner benefits to state employees.
House Bill 75 112- This bill would allow any competent adult patient in a hospital/nursing home to receive visits from anyone s/he wishes (including same-gender partners) and would require institutions to honor advanced health care directives. Senate Bill 27 - This bill would amend Article XV of the Constitution of the State of Delaware to read: "A marriage between a man and a woman is the only legal union that shall be valid or recognized in this state."
