National Food Drive for Equality Actions in Erie Although Erie is not currently planning an action for Light Up The Night, we are collecting non-perishable items for the National Food Drive for Equality, as well as a lobbying effort with newly elected US Congressmember Kathy Dahlkemper. | US Congress PA District 3 recently saw the election of Kathy Dahlkemper (D) over 14 year incumbent Republican Phil English. Dahlkemper had reached out to the GLBT community during the face and attended candidate forums held by the Erie Gay Business Alliance. We are currently gathering signatures on congratulations cards for Kathy Dahlkemper, which we will be delivering in person for a visit when she takes office in early January to lobby her on a variety of GLBT-related issues.
