Some easy ways to get signatures on this letter are: 1. Take them to ally rich places such as gay bars, allied church and organization mtgs, college campuses 2. Print a copy and carry it wherever you go (work, class, meeting friends, family gatherings, etc) 3. Send the letter to everyone you know by email asking them to print it and get signatures and forward your email 4. Make sure you're using the official signature page please. It's important for legal and continuity reasons. You can start collecting signatures today! They must be mailed by 1/12 for us to take them to Barack Obama. Adding your contact info is a great way to get volunteers to help you.

| STILL NEED AN ORGANIZER | Organizing is easy, but if you don't have an organizer in your city, get a group of 5-10 friends together, print out the Light Up the Night Holiday Cards, and head to your local mall and start passing them out. Don't forget to keep count of how many cards you passed out. There will be a place to report the numbers soon! | ||||

| City: Evansville Time: Saturday, November 15th-12:00pm Organizer: <insert name(s) Contact info: lauraberryhill@yahoo.com or fletcherjoshua@hotmail.com Supporting Organizations: | City Hall/Police Station: 1 ML King Blvd Evansville, Indiana 47708 | The plan is to meet at the police station/city hall at 12:00. We will be facing Martin Luther Blvd. because there will be more traffic on that side during the weekend. Signs are always a great way to support our cause. Popular slogans for the event are, "Not a 2nd Class Citizen" and "Marriage Rights are Equal Rights." The ban of same-sex marriage in the state of California does not only hurt the state. It is a leap backwards for a nation that just days before, had made huge strides in electing Barack Obama. |

The plans are a peaceful protest in front of Evansville City Hall at noon on Saturday. Protesters are asked to make colorful posters and signs protesting the Proposition 8 decision. Slogans like, "2nd Class Citizens" and "Marriage Rights are Equal Rights" can be used, but creativity is also appreciated!
