We had well over a 1000 people show up today... and people are finally ready to fight for our rights after a decade of being used as political doormat for the religious right and conservative politicians.
I know many straight people as well as many many gay people who are ready to voice there support for equal rights for all. We need to continue this with another rally bigger and better.... as long as we have some advance notification this can be big. If we don't fight this then when your rights are takin away one by one dont wonder what happened. This is the first time since I havebeen in the gay community that I have ever seen something UNITE everyone in it. |
