Instead of calling in sick to work people are asked to 'Call In Gay'. Instead of being 'sick' people in support of Same Sex Marriage are asked to donate their time that they would be working and volunteer for a charity organization of their choice. (619) 295-8072, are presenting the San Diego Leather Tribe's - 'A Day without A Gay' Event. We are asking Leather Folk and our Allies to 'Call In Gay', during the day on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 10th 2008, and collect non-perishable food items to be donated to SPECIAL DELIVERY FOOD PANTRY - http://www.specialdeliverysandiego.com/ . During the time you would be at work, go to your local grocery store, drug store, 99-cent store, Target, Rite-Aid, Save-On etc. and ask people while they are shopping to pick up and donate non-perishable food items for Special Delivery Food Pantry. From 6:00PM until Midnight at the Eagle, we will be collecting the donated food items and then bring them to Special Delivery Food Pantry. We will also be collecting monetary donations for the ACLU, who is sponsoring the court cases of Same Sex couples.
