I have posted a short brief blog on my My Space http://www.myspace.com/laurastutler
asking that we all halt as much of our spending as we can and if you must have it and you can buy it from gay & Lesbians please do so.
Let them know we contribute financially as well.

I think also that the Mormon church should have to pay taxes on all money it has contributed to this cause/prevention of gay & Lesbian marriage.

Hi, all:

My friends and I are starting a Web site designed to educate mainstream Americans (i.e.: not gay) about why marriage equality is important. There are lots of sites designed to unite and mobilize the GLBT community, not so many geared specifically toward the hearts and minds we're trying to win over. The site should be up soon, but for now, we've got a Facebook page--please please PLEASE sign up and share with your friends (especially non-gay or non-allied people).

The Web site will be launched by tomorrow. We are going to hand out flowers tagged with stickers bearing the URL, handing them out to passersby so they've got a takeaway. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO STEAL THIS IDEA. The more people that hear the message, the better. Also, we will be adding a section to the site qith links where people wanting to "Take Action" can go to (Join the Impact being one of them).

I have also printed out many of the flyers in color and great quality for anyone who may know someone with a connection to a business and would like me to drop it off in the Lakeview area. I will be making rounds tonight and on Thursday. So shoot me an email.
