We will take to the streets once again to demand what we deserve: Full equality! People will be gathering in cities across the country at 10:30 AM (Pacific Time) to rally for the repeal of the discriminatory Federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). DOMA Wrote discrimination into the Constitution. Obama needs to keep his campaign promises and repeal DOMA. We need to hold him to his promises. UCC ministers in Ashland will not sign marriage licenses for anyone until they can sign licenses for everyone. They will no longer discriminate and sign licenses for opposite sex couples until all couples are afforded the same opportunity. They believe that gay and lesbian couples believe in the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Now is the time! Stand up for marriage equality!
