Everyone is welcome to participate: fiances, partners - allied supporters who will not apply also welcome to attend. Join the Impact is partnering with the Metropolitan Community Church, which has courageously commemorated National Freedom to Marry Day for 8 years. 3 couples are pledged to apply from the MCC - the more the better the impact. Other churches and groups have also indicated their interest in participating this year. A press conference will be held immediately following outside the Hall of Justice. |

| LIGHT UP THE NIGHT FOR EQUALITY | DECEMBER 20, 2008 | 5PM WHAT IS IT? On December 20th, we ask that you join us again for a nation-wide demonstration that will make an impact on the private sector. Candlelight vigils will be held at commercial centers in cities across the country in remembrance of the rights that once were for 18,000 marriages, and in honor of the rights that one day will be again - for EVERYONE.
