"does anyone know where the add page button is on the personal story page? i'd appriciate the help. thanks!" The "add page" link is in the left-hand navigation box, underneath all the existing pages and above "top contributors". You have to be logged in to view the "add page" link.

We posted some pics we took at Portland's 11/15/08 protest. Please add your photos there, too: http://jointheimpact.wetpaint.com/album/64756/Portland%2C+OregonThis is a really exciting time. Finally, the people are leading, and the organizations are struggling to keep up with us! We have the momentum of the recent election behind us, with more allies in elected office after January 1! We're hoping that you let all your friends know about this, and post updates to your social networking sites as well as letting your friends, families and other allies letting them know about future events. Sam Adams promised us a march, and we hope to see even more people out there. Last but not least, a big SHOUT OUT to Lindsey and Debra for their great work on such short notice! We had our 2004 Oregon marriage annulled by the state Supreme Court in 2005 (along with all the other couples married in Oregon during that period) and we're hopeful that someday soon our marriage will be fully recognized by the state and that EVERY OTHER COUPLE that wants to get married will be able to, with all of the benefits provided as they are to heterosexual couples. THANK YOU EVERYONE WHO ATTENDED! YOU MADE IT A GREAT AND BEAUTIFUL DAY! Peace and love, Jim and Joey

We had over 300 hundred people show up at the City Council chambers. Our Mayor Kitty Piercy spoke along with a few others. We then marched around the block to Free Speech Square which is right by our Saturday Market. Lots of people saw our signs and heard our chants. Lots of honking and waving.
Lots of friends and allies, very exciting. It was an inspiring day. More photos and videos will become available at www.QueerEugene.com

About 300 people showed up in downtown Medford to protest for equal rights for all citizens, Young ( 3 months) and old (but young at heart) gathered at Vogel Plaza. Folks started showing up early and stayed til noon. Lots of diversity, lots of straight allies. Peaceful and respectful. And the cars driving by were hugely supportive, waving and honking. Amazing for a conservative part of the state! Crowd size exceeded expectations. Permit was for 50. Rock on Rogue Valley. Special thanks to Karen, my partner of nearly 30 years, for her love and support. Will upload pics later. It's time to bask.

We were lucky here this morning. It's 'Dad's weekend' and there was a football game starting at 12:30, so the road in front of the courthouse was consistently busy during the hour and a half we were there. The proportion of happy honkers, waves and smiles to thumbs down was amazing! I only witnessed 3 people calling out negative things, the reaction was overwhelmingly positive.
I didn't count, but I'm guessing we had around 150 people there, maybe more. We were pretty well covered by our local paper, so there will definitely be coverage in tomorrows GT. We all wish it wasn't necessary, but if we continue to raise awareness on a scale like this, I have to believe we will find equality sooner rather than later.

We had about 85 protesters at our location! It was awesome. All the signs were very respectful. Most people honked and waved. We only had three negative reactions which was great. It went very well! I'm looking forward to more of these!
