| 11/15 Protest Info | Address & Map | Notes & Updates |
| Location: Pomona City Hall Date & Time: November 15th @ 10AM Website: facebook *THE DAILY BULLETIN WILL BE COVERING THIS PROTEST* Contact: ThuanAgainstH8@gmail.com Hi, Hope somebody finds this. There were at least three hundred (I think) more or less. It was a peaceful and high energy protest. Am a straight mom and sister of LGBT family. My husband and I felt the warmth of the group today, saw friends, met people and felt empowered. Bless you for the opportunity. It is hard to watch society hurt those you love most. | Address: 505 S Garey Ave Pomona 91766 (map) | The City of Pomona has given us consent and their support to demonstrate; Pomona Police will be present to maintain public safety. Please be aware that this is a NON-VIOLENT protest. Bring signs, dress appropriately, and bring water/snacks. On the steps of Pomona City Hall, along with other cities across California and the nation, on November 15th at 10:30am PST, our community WILL take to the streets and speak out against Proposition 8 and all of the other pro-equality losses that we have faced in our lifetimes, in our parents’ lifetimes, and for many generations before us. WE CAN’T DO THIS ALONE! WE NEED YOUR HELP! Let the country hear our voices together. Let them see that we are a strong, adamant, and powerful community that deserves equal rights, and CAN’T BE DEFEATED! This is not a California issue. This is an issue of equality across America. Stand up and make your voice heard. |
