- is this an actual "rally/protest" or just people standing around to sign petitions?
- is anyone planning and organizing this rally? out last rally in portland was organized in a few days which didn't turn out as well as it could've, so someone should start thinking about organizing this rally.
- is there going to be a chance for portland to march for their rights down the streets? when?

I'd like to see if it wold be possible to get some sort of Light Up The Night event going on in Eugene, but I don't know how. I know it's short notice, but if I can get something going, even something small, it'd be better than nothing. If anyone has information about how theirs was put together, or useful people to contact, that would be a help.

Search for "Join the Impact" on Facebook and throughout the first few pages, you'll find individual groups for several different cities who protested the other weekend. It would be nice if there were some kind of centralized group for the whole shebang, but to my knowledge, there isn't one at the moment.

Hello,
The information seems to be a little conflicting as to where the rally is being held, what information do you have?
Check out the California page and see every city is holding their rallies at their City Hall. I think this is very important because we can so easily get lost at the waterfront and also at PSU. It's to easy to write us off, but if we are right in front of City Hall it's a little harder.

Currently, the Portland Rally is at ONE location. Portland State University South Park Blocks (though I agree it should be held at City Hall, like the REST OF THE NATION)

There are two facebook groups, and it looks like the Waterfront group is working to figure out what's actually going on. Seems like the majority of folks are recognizing the PSU location as the official site. I'll let you know when/if I hear anything different.

can't say for sure - but show up when you can and leave when you have to - just be there for as much as you can - starts at 10:30 am
