Send Obama a postcard

Our friends at Civil Rights Front have come up with a brilliant way for us to ensure that LGBTQ issues aren't forgotten as President Obama.

Their idea: buy a postcard from your home town, include a handwritten message, and mail it to the White House.

THIS IS HOW IT WORKS
1. BUY A POSTCARDIt would be great if it had the name of your city or state on it, but feel free to get creative.
2. WRITE A MESSAGE:Dear President Obama,

I have read your LGBT Civil Rights Agenda. Please follow through by asking Congress to change discriminatory policies and confirm your commitment to equality for all Americans.

Sincerely,

<Your Name>
<Your City and State>
3. POST A PIC OF YOURSELFTake a photo of yourself with your postcard and add it to THIS ALBUM!
4. MAIL IT TO OBAMA:President Barack Obama
The White House
1600 Pennsylvania Ave.
Washington, DC 20500
5. TELL YOUR FRIENDSEmail this URL to your friends! http://jointheimpact.wetpaint.com/page/Project+Postcard

Ask everyone you know to write a postcard to Obama, and put this badge on your personal blog! Add this HTML code:

<div><a href="http://jointheimpact.wetpaint.com/page/Project+Postcard"><img src="http://image.wetpaint.com/image/1/cLZuT-d0DZBthRwTlV-STw36664" alt="Send Obama a Message About Marriage Equality" border="0"/></a></div>

*Another option is to send postcards online via these two services http://classic.cardstore.com or http://www.amazingmail.com. Each cost a little over $1.00. You can customize the image/text, etc and it'll get delivered via postal mail.
