Equality California	Founded in 1998, EQCA celebrates its 10th anniversary in 2008, commemorating a decade of building a state of equality in California. In the past 10 years, Equality California has strategically moved California from a state with extremely limited legal protections for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) individuals to a state with some of the most comprehensive civil rights protections in the nation. You Can't Hide Your Hate California	Many individuals and companies gave money to support Prop 8 and ban marriage equality in California. There is a database of these donors. We support identifying donors and making informed decisions about conducting business, promoting tolerance and civil rights, and helping change minds. We do NOT advocate blacklisting or boycotts, only informed decision making and awareness. Californians Against Hate	Californians Against Hate was established in July 2008 to draw attention to the major donors to the Yes on Proposition 8 campaign. These contributors spent $36 million to amend the California Constitution to take away the right of same-sex couples to marry. If our opponents want to take away our rights, then we will fight back. We will let the world know who these donors are, and then our millions of friends and allies can decide if they want to support their businesses or not. Empowering Spirits Foundation	The Empowering Spirits Foundation (ESF) is a national, grass-roots based civil rights organization working to achieve lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality. ESF members engage in service-oriented activities in communities typically opposed to equal rights. It is our hope that in working side-by-side with our non-LGBT neighbors they may come to see similarities rather than differences in each of us, and that we can engage in dialogue through non-confrontational means to promote equality.
