Attention to all GLBT residents and allies on FL's Gulf Coast

Hello everyone,

My name is Jordan Britt. I am attempting to organize all GLBT people and allies in this region of Florida to continue the fight for equality, in opposition to Amendment 2 and all the other efforts to maintain GLBT people as second class citizens.

But I need your help to do it.

I need to hear from all of you and we need to organize some sort of a resistance to Amendment 2. I am trying to get GLBT folks and our allies here organized to start pushing back against this hateful law.

I am going to send you my contact information to you all and I hope that you will join me in resisting Amendment 2. Please contact me ASAP if you wish to join with me and contact anyone who you think can help in any way.

Hi Jordan,

I belong to the straight spouse network. We have taken a position against amendments to laws with the purpose of banning gay marriage. What kind of a turnout do you expect? I have something going on saturday morning, but I may be able to make it. Janet 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

Hi Jordan, we are working on it! The Red Carpet Lounge, myself, and many more in our city are talking about this event to everyone we know! To my knowledge, this protest will be a first for our city. We are disgusted and fed up!! Do you find this valuable?

Hi Jordan,

Congratulations to all of us on a Protest well done. It may have been small compared to those on the West Coast, I believe it was a wonderful success! The point is to let people know that we are here, and all we want is to be treated with the same respect and equality others take for granted.

Please let everyone know that they need to upload all of their photos and videos so the rest of the nation knows that even here, in a small, conservative southern town, we are proud of who we are and ready to step up and demand equal treatment under the law.
