Just a note of encouragement to all of you in my native state. I grew up in Va. Beach but now live in San Diego. I am flying into Roanoke to visit Family for the weekend. I am originally from Roanoke and am living in San Diego CA and I am legally married to my husband of 19 years now (at least for now and yes I am male). I will be there with my "No on 8" sign if you get this going. Please post place and time. I will be missing our protest here in San Diego so it would be nice to join you. Last week we had 10,000 marching here in San Diego.

I couldnt get the permit in time. In Roanoke it take 7-10 days for a permit to be approved :( I'm going to be going to the Blacksburg one tomorrow. But if there's interest I can apply for a permit to do another protest in Roanoke in a couple of weeks if there's interest.

If we can't get a permit from the City of Roanoke I say we go ahead and do the protest! If the people on the discussion are from Roanoke, VA. You know what I'm talking about. LET'S GO ROANOKE, VIRGINIA

Why are there no house parties this weekend in rke?It's being done by Obamatons everywhere this weekend. I would host one if I were not in florida. O's gay agenda is terrific just published.It needs support at grass roots. Find it on Pinknews. Do you find this valuable? |
