Many of you who were at the Nashville protest probably remember a couple of guys who might have looked a bit out of place. They are SHARPS, Skin Heads Against Racial Prejudice (don't believe everything you see on the Geraldo Show, the vast majority of skin heads are not racists) and are really good friend's of mine and my partners. One of them wrote a blog posting on his myspace page explaining his experience at the protest and I was very impressed and moved by it when I read it. I hope you will take the time to take a look. Just go to;http://www.myspace.com/mikebrocks and click on the "view more" link next to the blog entry entitled "Proposition 8 Protest - A Story" It is great to hear what one of our straight friends thought of the event. 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Wow! That was a touching short story. I really liked it. When I hear words like "Skinhead" or "hate" etc. it sends shivers down my spine... I'm glad your friend understands this issue. Is it possible to ask him if you could publish his short story to this link here: http://jointheimpact.wetpaint.com/page/Speech+IdeasThanks! -A straight female ally out of found this valuable.
