WANTED: Business owners closing for DWG Dec 10
Nov 29 2008, 12:50 PM EST
I'm one of the DWG administrators, working on the PR angle of this event. We'd like to identify any local store/company, etc in major US cities that might be closing its doors for the day on Dec 10 in support of Day Without a Gay. If you know one of those stores or are one of those store owners -please reach out to us as we'd like to thank you for your support and work with you further on this. (either post here, the dwg website or facebook) We're considering having a few of these local establishments available to any media inquiries we get - it will provide a great visual of a store closed and the local store owner talking about why (and don't worry, we will provide some media training). We're also working on signs that businesses can put in their windows - see the DWG site for more info on that. Thanks in advance for everyone's help! 9 out of 10 found this valuable. Do you?

I'm pretty small potatoes, but I plan to close my eBay store for the day, and put as my message "This store closed for a Day without a Gay, please come back tomorrow". I won't be posting any new listings or mailing out any orders that day.
