White Ribbons in Sacramento and Rohnert Park, CA

My sister and I have been making and spreading white ribbons in these two cities, Rohnert Park-more than 50 people out there with them! Both in the high school level and college level, as well as others in our communities around us -- this is a small contribution, but it will grow! just letting people know that something is happening in these cities promoting same-sex marriage! Everyone get out there and make and spread the ribbons to people! it costs less than $5.00 total for all supplies, and just some time to make them. People are excited, glad, thankful, and polite about receiving them :) 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you?

I've been making and distributing them as much as I can here in DE. It's not a time-intensive process and ribbon is pretty cheap. (I got 5 rolls of it for 5 dollars at a Christmas sale at the local arts and crafts store, and I sew so I've got a ton of safety pins already.)We're going to use them as one of our unifying symbols for the local LUTN demonstration since it will be too cold for t-shirts. I'm also going to give them to anyone who drops in to donate a can of food. :) 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |

People have reacted enthusiastically to my white ribbons, too. I carry a few with me to hand out. Very inexpensive, and easy to make.
