DOMA protest
Dec 25 2008, 2:24 AM EST
is the reason we don't have NYC organizer/location for the DOMA protest on jan.10 because it's just not posted yet or because no one's signed up to organize?if we don't have an organizer, what's the process of finding/becoming one? let's make sure the glbt community is seen and heard from the very start of the new year! xx. k 3 out of 3 found this valuable. I checked the facebook page and there's nothing there, either. I think it might be because of the holidays and the organizers, i think, are in college. They may whip something up once they get back, but if you'd like to organize with me I'd be interested. My email address is currently posted on the organizer section. Feel free to edit the page and put your info there, too.

Ive made changes to the JTI NYC website and sent an email to everyone listed on the site. What are you suggestions for organizing? We could start a thread at the JTI NYC site.

They are meeting about the event but aren't planning a protest. Apparently they dont think publically advertising their meetings is a good idea. I, for one, and turned off.
