Obama is not one to go back on his supposedly well-reasoned choices, and will not give his opponents any fodder to claim he's "waffling".

It won't work.

Let's hope this inaugural prayer thing is ALL the attention Obama ever gives known-dispenser-of-hate-speech Warren.

Thanks leftylib, I signed that a while back. But as Mokuyobi said, I don't think Obama will be willing to eliminate his choice of Warren anytime soon...it seems like a lucky chance if he does, I guess.

Seriously, let's hope that Warren only does a prayer during that Inauguration day and THAT is it. If Warren keeps speaking and speaking on that day about "Oh, how special I am to be here!" and this and that, I'm ignoring it. Warren does not deserve anymore of the spotlight after the prayer he does on that day - he can take a d@mn seat and shut-his-trap right after the prayer and stay quiet throughout the event. All I can say is, is that this event should be really open and accessible to everyone and that everyone there is represented fairly and follow the schedule as is. Then I can be happy! =]

I know you are both right. For a little while I felt consciliatory as though this is part of obama's master plan. Other times i feel like what my mother told me that no matter how someone has offended you or asserted their rights over yours that shouldn't stop you from asserting otherwise or defending yourself. Holth that's neat you signed it...Moku I understand your feelings.
