Keep filling out requests for marriage licenses over and over and over."I am going to go to the local courthouse tomorrow and everyday until we have marriage equality for GLBTIQ persons in the state of South Carolina. I will fill out one application per day! 2 out of 2 found this valuable. Do you? |

This is a great idea! If every LGBT couple that wants to get married in a place where they are not accepted submits an application every day, that will have a great impact. Of course, we can take it one step further. We are all supposed to be treated equally under the law right? So if we can’t marry the person we love, neither can another couple. The other couple can have a church ceremony, or commitment ceremony if you will, but not a marriage license.Seems like a fair deal under our current system right? If anyone is interested in this idea, or starting your own civil disobedience, come to one of the Teach-Ins. Or host your own. I have a site organizing protests all over the country.
