Protest Outside Democratic Fundraiser

The Obama Administration has just defended DOMA with hateful speech, and now they want our money. They are planning The 10th Annual LGBT Leadership Council Dinner on Thursday June 26th at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel (1330 Maryland Avenue, SW Washington, DC)- Reception - 5:30 PM, Dinner & Program - 7:00 PM.
The Obama spokesman,Gibbs, said that the Obama administration will not cross a picket line to make appearances. They pulled out of the Mayors meeting this past weekend to support firefighters, let's see if they have the same dedication to picketers when they are trying to raise money for themselves.
If you can get to the DC area on June 26th, make your views known. Stand outside the hotel peacefully and challenge Obama to explain his "fierce advocate" status.

That's a great idea to demonstrate however it's not a picket line. A picket line is when a labor union is on strike.

You could say yours is an informational picket line but it's technically a demonstration and Obama and others who support the labor movement are not required to not cross a demonstration.

It's a good idea though. I'm reading that many are dropping out, canceling, attendance is dwindling. Keep up the pressure, I think he's getting the point that we're mad as hell.
