We were amazed how quickly Join the Impact organized the aniti-prop 8 march and rally. And dismayed at the lack of publicity the Oct 11th march has received locally. How can I help JTI and other organizations organize local groups support the march?
While we are focusing attention on prop 71, not much can be done until the count is finished.
Is Join the Impact planning on supporting the Oct 11th March?
Please call me or write me - I'll be in DC as we were in '93. It was amazing. Surely in this age of Facebook, MySpace and the internet we can rally our community. If ever there was a time and a president who might hear us, it is now.

Where do you live if you don't mind my asking? I know that several people here at JTI are involved with the National Equality March. I live in Seattle. We have a dynamic group here that is organizing a local march in support of the national one, but is is focused on Seattle, not DC. I have attended an organizing meeting and will support their efforts, but I feel that it is important to get a turnout in DC like we did in '93. Do you find this valuable?
